Sarah Brattain, DVM, MPH

DVM, MPH, Resident in Veterinary Ophthalmology

Sarah Brattain, DVM, MPH is a Resident in Veterinary Ophthalmology who joined VEI Plano in July 2022.   

In 2015 she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Analysis and Policy from Boston University. She then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine as well as her Master of Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2021. The following year, she completed a Small Animal Medicine & Surgery rotating internship at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus, OH.  Dr. Brattain then completed an ophthalmology specialty internship at Veterinary Eye Institute (VEI) and is thrilled to continue her training with an ophthalmology residency at Veterinary Eye Institute.  

In her free time, Dr. Brattain enjoys hiking, yoga, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
