Liz Soler, DVM

Practice Limited to Conditions of the Animal Eye

Liz Soler, DVM, Practice Limited to Conditions of the Animal Eye, joined VEI Plano in 2023.  

Dr. Soler graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University. She then completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Iowa State University. Dr. Soler completed an ophthalmology internship and residency at Oklahoma State University. 

Dr. Soler has contributed to veterinary publications, including the Journal of Comparative Pathology and the Journal of Exotic Pet Medicine. 

Liz Soler has a special interest in pain management associated with glaucoma, surgical treatment of corneal disease, adnexal surgery, and diagnosis and treatment of retrobulbar and ocular neoplasia. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is working with pets to ensure their comfort and preserve vision. She loves observing how incredible the human-animal bond can be and being able to help improve an animal’s quality of life. 

In her free time, Dr. Liz Soler enjoys riding her dressage horse, Mikey, swimming, traveling, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
