Christy Johnson is the Senior Operations Partner at Veterinary Eye Institute (VEI). Christy joined VEI in 2013 as a veterinary assistant and Hospital Manager with responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice. She became a Senior Operations Partner in 2021 and currently supports all VEI locations. Christy applies her strong organizational skillset daily, ensuring the healthcare team always has the necessary equipment and supplies to deliver the highest standard of expert ophthalmic care.
Christy’s career in veterinary medicine began at an early age. She started as a kennel assistant, growing her knowledge into a veterinary assistant. She has worked in Primary practice, Emergency medicine and Specialty care. During this time, she gained valuable experience in surgical nursing and animal care, honing her skills in providing compassionate and high-quality care to animals.
Christy graduated from Collin County Community College, earning her Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) certification in 2017. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading a good book.
