Case Referral
Referring one of your patients to a specialist should have as little impact on your workflow as possible. With this in mind, we want to make referrals easy for you and your staff. To refer a case to Veterinary Eye Institute, simply fill out the referral form and either email it or fax it to us.

Not every client is willing to be referred to a specialist. Please feel free to call us anytime (really, anytime) to discuss any of your ophthalmic cases.

What to expect from us:

Communication
We understand that patients receive the best care, and clients are best served, when the referring veterinarian and veterinary specialist work together in a collaborative manner. This is accomplished through efficient, timely, and consistent communication. The Veterinary Eye Institute is committed to excellence in communication with the referring community. In addition to receiving a phone call to discuss case findings and treatment recommendations following each new referral, we will send you a referral report in a format that is the most convenient for you (e-mail, fax, mail) within 24 hours of the patient being seen.

Respect
Dr. Warren started in small animal practice prior to becoming an ophthalmologist, and he understands the difficulties and challenges associated with practicing small and large animal medicine and surgery. The Veterinary Eye Institute will treat you and your staff with respect and integrity. You can have confidence that every referral will be treated kindly and compassionately. Veterinary Eye Institute will honor the relationship you have established with your clients.
