Amanda Wimms, BVM&S, MRCVS is a resident in veterinary ophthalmology at VEI Anaheim and VEI Upland (formerly known as Veterinary Ophthalmic Consulting). She joined the team in July 2022.

Following that, she joined Woodbine Animal Clinic in Pace, FL, and then worked as a small animal relief veterinarian (in many corners of the country due to her husband’s military career!). Since 2020, she has spent time with Animal Eye Care Associates in North Carolina. Dr. Wimms is a member of the AMVA, CVMA, BrAVO, and the IEOC.

In her free time, Dr. Wimms enjoys yoga, paddleboarding, skiing, and traveling. She is excited to be back in Southern California for the sunshine, surfing and hiking with her husband and their black lab Fletcher!
